Coop

Filed Under (Up-Close and Personal) by mellowmasher on 24-02-2009

It’s been some weeks since I have been up-close and personal with anyone but I would like you to meet coop - one of my np/chat buddies..
Take it away sweetie ………
Over at Namepros we know you better as Coop Why did you pick this name and do you have a real name you could share with us?

A: Actually my real name ties into why you all know me as Coop. My name is Jeremiah Cooper, and growing up I was always called Coop in football and the name just stuck with me thru everything.

May I ask your age?

A: I’m 19 years old.

In your Namepros profile I see www.jeremiahcooper.com what is this?

A: JeremiahCooper.com is my blog, I talk about ways to make money online, most specifically affiliate marketing. We will be holding some great contests coming up soon to garner more readers, I really want to get out there and help the make money online community.

Other then JeremiahCooper do you dabble in anything else over the internet?

A: I am the President/CEO of Katemiah Creations Incorporated. We are a company that focuses on affiliate marketing, which is what I do full time online. It’s only been 7 months since I started but the results have grown very well! I am excited to see what’s in store for 2009!

Do you buy/sell domain names?

A: I joined Namepros in an effort to do so years ago, and honestly I haven’t sold many. Namepros was more of my gateway to the many many others ways to make money online. I’ve stuck around because the community is great, and everyone loves to help one another.

What about offline, do you have anything going on there?

A: Very much so, I am a full time student at Full Sail University, I am pursuing a bachelor’s degree in game development. The school keeps me very busy, but I also make sure that I keep room open for the most important part of my life, my amazing girlfriend Katie.

Do you have any hobbies?

A: Lately it seems like my hobby is affiliate marketing! It doesn’t even seem like work anymore really, actually it never did. I love doing it, I love the competition of advertising and constantly having to redo your ads to keep up to date with the latest trends. I have no intention of ever working for anyone but myself ever again. Aside from that, I am a major sports fan. I enjoy playing and watching football, and I’m an avid gamer as well. World of Warcraft has sucked away many hours of my life..

what size shoe are you?

A: I’m going to be honest, I had to go pick up my shoe and read it, but I am a size 11 in Nike’s which is what I wear the most..but in other shoes around a 13.

Are you superstitious in any way?

A: I’ve never really been superstitious. I think I’ve been pretty lucky all my life so apparently it hasn’t hit me if it does exist!

Do you have any pets?

A: I don’t down here in Florida at school, however back home I have four cats. Izzy, aka no legs because she’s so fat in the winter you can’t see her legs. Sanford, who was a stray that got into a fight and we had to take him to the hospital and thus we never sent him back outside. Ben and Garfield they are two brothers that are both crazy in their own ways. Garfield will lie down and pull his food out of his bowl one piece at a time and eat it, and Ben just never stops moving he has way too much energy!

How do you see the internet in 5 years?

A: The internet has already experienced such an explosive growth I’m honestly not sure where it can go from here! I can definitely see there being a lot of TLD’s in 5 years, as we are already running out of any type of brandable domains available that anyone has any use for. I can see our population relying more and more on the internet..the technological advances have been amazing – I am still waiting on my flying car!

Is there anyone that you admire and look up to in life and why?

A: The person that I look up to in life is my mom. I admire her because she has worked very hard her entire life to give me the life that she has given me. I owe everything I’ve been able to accomplish to her, and even though we don’t always see eye to eye on things, I’m always trying to make her proud. She works way harder than I ever have and I don’t ever plan to work that hard thanks to the internet. However I will make sure she’s taken care of as well ?.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

A: In 5 years I see myself right where I am. The CEO of Katemiah Creations Incorporated. I see myself married to my girlfriend Katie, and I see us traveling the world like we both want to. I think that I will still be doing affiliate marketing full time, and that we will also have a game development studio by that time.

If you could be a superhero, which one would you be?

A: I would be Batman, because he doesn’t have to have any otherworldly powers to be super. He is able to overcome anything with what he has. That’s what I aspire to do, overcome everything that is thrown at me using what is available to me.

What female celeb rocks your boat?

A: Jessica Alba

Do you have a must do before I die goal?

A: Live life to its fullest every day, and travel the world with Katie.

Do you have any holidays booked for the next 12 months?

A: Well I’m going back home to Ohio a few times, on Spring break and our short summer break. Hopefully a few weekends here and there too, other than that not really due to school.

Filed Under (Up-Close and Personal) by mellowmasher on 09-12-2008

Over at Namepros we know you better as -TV-.  Why did you pick this name and do you have a real name you could share with us?

A: Sure. My first nickname I used was TvDomain which I still use in some of the other community forums around, there is nothing really to it I have been asked many times if I am interested in dot tv CCTld lol but really,  there is nothing more to it.

May I ask your age?

A: I will be 33 years old this coming January the 21st , getting older and wiser - this is life.

In your Namepros profile I see Noomle.com what is this?

A: Noomle was created, for my personal needs to park my domain names and every time I code it I try to make it easier for me to gain time on managing my portfolio.  I ended up opening it to the public as a parking domain name system totally different from the traditional parking. With Noomle you can use your own ads google/yahoo/youtube and soon other affiliate codes.

Other then Noomle do you dabble in anything else?

A: In fact Noomle was my lastest code.  I have designed and coded many websites which started with www.faxreport.com where I sold some of my coded windows software designed specifically to help domain name owners to do tasks faster and make good decisions on their domain name business.

I coded a directory from scratch you can visit it at www.datasoftsystem.com  which is very unique and contains not just websites but blogs, mobi and news directorys , I designed a search engine with it’s spider which I gave up after I crawled about 500,000 websites and closed the project which I will re-open soon.

Do you buy/sell domain names?

A: I used to.  I sold many domains but I did not buy many… lol. I used to register domains that had traffic using my famous tool faxreport.  At that time yahoo overture used to provide the statistics. For now I manage my portfolio and I end up with great names that generates traffic/revenue and that is why the idea of my Noomle parking system was born.

What about offline, do you have anything going on there?

A: I spend a great deal of time with my little boy he is 3 years old,  doing some landscaping and helping my wife at home because of her health condition and that is why I had to stay home to take care of everyone after I took a leave from my job with AT&T.

Do you have any hobbies?

A: I love playing chess that is my favorite game also fishing, swimming, and having fan with educational video games with my little boy.

What size shoe are you?

A: a 10 and a half

Did you like school?

A: I loved school.  I used to teach in technical college back in my home town computer programming.  I had wonderful students and I still have some great pictures reminding me of the good old days.

Are you superstitious in any way?

A: I think no one is perfect and every one knows that, so we make mistakes but we need to learn from them.

Do you have any pets?

A: Yes.  I have LUCKY, he is a cat.  I have posted his picture many times doing silly things around the computer while I try to code or browsing the forum.

How do you see the internet in 5 years?

A: Hard to imagine.  It started as a way to communicate between labs from universities and it has just spread further and faster with new ideas and innovations that pop up everyday.  You can not have a specific shape on how the internet will be like in few years coming. Information flows everywhere  with open sources, social bookmarking, sharing news and video. It is going faster and faster….and the best of what came up from the basket of the internet is the fruit of INCOME.  It did indeed help a lot of young people to buy books and make a good income and I am talking not just people in the united states but all around the world it sure did help.

Tell us a little about your family and what do they think about your online profession.

A: My wife is a wonderful person . She understands that I give up alot to stay in front of the screen at home doing my own online business rather than being in my office at work. She is so patient and she even loves to read fresh news from my website datasoftsystem.com.  My little son, yes he gets his time of playing and attention but is always demanding  I can’t say no to that, kids are fun.  I take breaks to relax to get more powerful ideas and a fresh start.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

A: looking forward to being retired from my online business after I establish it to take care of itself, and going back to my normal job.

If you could be a superhero, which one would you be?

A: Hummm from staying with my kid in front of the tv watching cartoons, Ive learnt alot lol.  I want to be….. humm… spongebob a simple guy that serves and make everyone happy including my son.

What female celeb rocks your boat?

A: Katie Couric.  She is smart and has a very interesting personality.

Do you have a must do before I die goal?

DJ-Sound

Filed Under (Up-Close and Personal) by mellowmasher on 04-12-2008

Over at Namepros we know you better as DJ-Sound. Why did you pick this name and do you have a real name you could share with us?

A: Back in 2000 I started a DJ business called SoundWave Productions. Everyone on the dj forums had a name like DJ-Skilz or DJ-Chip, so I just signed up as DJ-Sound and have been using that name online ever since. As for my real name, you can call me: Ryan.

May I ask your age?

A: Currently in the 20’s although like most online entrepreneurs I’ve had to act 30-40 for years now to be taken seriously (and to keep my real identity safe).

I noticed in your profile - millionaireGroup.com. What is this?

A: I’ve been in and out of different online ventures for almost 9 years now. Some have been huge successes, some have been huge money pits, and looking back one was probably borderline illegal.
But none of them were able to capture all of my passions.
That is why I created MillionaireGroup.
It packages: real estate, stock market, forex, futures, venture capital, business and development, marketing, networking, programming all into one profitable self-sustaining business model that I can dive into and not get bored with.

You appear to have a wide knowledge of many things. What do you specialize in?

A: “internet marketing” That is what my degree will say and that is what I get paid to talk/write about.

Do you have any up-and-coming projects you can share with us?

A: Well I am currently in the process of converting a very popular arcade machine from another culture to be commercially viable (and legal) to use in USA arcades. Once this project is done I will publish my book describing and illustrating how to make this conversion for profit, and selling the components required on a website. Naturally this is a niche and I can’t give any details until it is launched, but you can bet a link to the site will be in my namepros signature when it is time.

Do you buy/sell domain names?

A: I buy/back order all the time, no desire to sell though.

What about offline, do you have anything going on there?

A: I have a few projects that allow me to get off the computers and still make money like I mentioned above. I love inventing things and planning out business ideas.

Obviously having such a time consuming business there is little time for anything else but what do you do with what little free time you have.

A: After school, business affairs, I will spend time with family or friends. I also love working out. I lift weights and run 4-6 times a week to stay fit (and sane). Everyone regardless who you live with or what you do, needs to invest time in their selves.

Did you like school?

A: College has been very fun, the amount and diversity of people you meet keeps every day interesting. Classes are hard but I love a challenge.

How do you see the internet in 5 years?

A: More and more opportunities as thousands more rush onto the internet trying to make money.

Is there anyone that you admire and look up to in life and why?

A: I wouldn’t say so, I respect many people for their individual successes however yet to personally come across someone that has achieved what I want.

Tell us a little about your family and what do they think about your online profession

A: My family has always been skeptical and surprised about my online profession. On the day of my 18th birthday they found my incorporation certificate in the mail, ever since then they assumed I knew what i was doing.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

A: My ten year plan includes a wife and family of my own

Do you have a must do before I die goal?

A: Well I’d like to at the very least have and raise a few kids before I die.

Do you have any holidays booked for the next 12 months?

A: Always, Ski trip this winter to Vail - (every successful business idea I’ve ever come up with was on vacation, not in the office)

Before we finish I would like to ask you some quick fire questions

Please tell us what are your favorite (if any)

Song – A: bad girlfriend -theory of a deadman :-x
Film – A: saving private ryan
TV Programme A: sopranos/Dexter if I ever get time to watch

Book – A: go big or go home - wil schroter
Magazine A: Harvard Business Review
Sport to watch – A: football

NameDriver

Filed Under (Up-Close and Personal) by mellowmasher on 27-11-2008

Over at Namepros we know you better as NameDriver. Do you have a real name that you could share with us?

A: I’m Ed Russell in the real world.

May I ask your age?

A: 30 last month but still living in denial.

I see the NameDrive logo in your avatar, can you tell me your relationship with them?

A: I am President of NameDrive and was lucky enough to be one of the original four ND members sitting around my living room table when we launched back in August 2005.

Can you share with anyone that does not already know what NameDrive is and what services they provide.

A: NameDrive is primarily a domain parking program. We launched in 2005 and were Google’s fastest-growing third party advertising reseller ever in 2006. Since then, we have added numerous parking templates and innovations to the industry - which are now standard in most programs. Last year, we also launched the world’s first domain sales platform based on parking revenue rather than generic value to cater to those looking to buy domains with proven earning potential.
We currently have over 1 million domains parked with us and over 45,000 customers worldwide.

Do you have any plans for NameDrive’s future you can tell us about?

A: While ND was proud to pioneer a lot of new features in 06 and 07, 08 has been quiet as we’ve had our heads down pretty much all year working on a bunch of new features which will be coming out in the next few weeks. They are partly developments of existing features but also a raft of new features which we hope will put us back at the forefront of the domain parking industry innovation.

Do you yourself buy/sell domain names?

I don’t buy domains personally, I reg a few now and then but am mostly concerned with millions of other people’s domains to have time to work on my own portfolio! I am the proud owner of Ëd.com, though which is almost a 2 letter domain if you ignore its IDN nature. I should have sold one of my domains when I had the opportunity and still regret not doing so…

Do you park them?

Yes, with NameDrive, funnily enough…

Apart from NameDrive, do you have any other online ventures you would like to share with us?

A: Sadly / Happily ND consumes all my time.

What about offline, do you have anything going on there?

A: I’m getting quite good at Guitar Hero.

Obviously having such a time consuming business there is little time for anything else but what do you do with what little free time you have.

A: When I have a moment, it’s usually spent watching films, reading, strumming around on my guitar or playing XBox. I suppose cooking counts as a pastime as much as a means of sustenance and I spend my evenings bashing around the kitchen when I can. My family and friends are spread out across Europe, so I spend a lot of time jetting around checking up on them.

How do you see parking in the future lets say the next 5 years?

A: Wow, I think the next 5 months may be a little more possible. As parking has only just been around for 5 years and the changes there have been phenomenal, it is hard to predict what will happen in the next 5 years. Even 2008 has seen major shifts, so I’ll restrict myself to 2009. This year has seen Google and Yahoo cutting the fat and cleaning house, so to speak. There were several ways to get rich quick with parking, the obvious one being arbitrage, which were cut this year, so the returns will not be so high for people who were gaming the system before. If you stick by the rules and use parking for what it is - i.e. monetizing existing traffic on your domain names - then I think it will be around for some time. Smaller domain portfolio owners will probably look to develop as time goes by but, with more and more consolidation going on in the market, it means the larger players are amassing such large numbers of domains that the only feasible option is to park all but the top few domains, which will be developed or otherwise used. So I feel parking still has further to run than many people give it credit for.

Is there anyone that you admire and look up to in life and why?

A: I guess I should put a Russian revolutionary or philosopher here so I hope it doesn’t make me a bad person if I say there are people I’d like to emulate rather than draw inspiration from. The first one who springs to mind is Nigel Slater, the British food writer and chef.

Tell us a little about your family and what do they think about your online profession.

A: My family is very artistic on both sides - the last 3 generations producing painters, singers, ballerinas, composers, writers, concert pianists, so this is certainly a departure from that. I don’t think anyone in my family really understands what I do which has the bonus that I can tell my dad what I do every time I see him. I think they’re proud though that I seem to be ‘doing something well’.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

A: 40 last month and still living in denial.

If you could be a superhero, which one would you be?

A: Is there a StatMan? My sister gave me a tshirt of
SuperTed - a childhood hero of mine - for my birthday, so I guess that fits well with my name.

Do you have a must do before I die goal?

A: Weirdly enough, I have always wanted to sail across the Atlantic on a real sailing ship - one like Captian Morgan may have used.

Do you have any holidays booked for the next 12 months?

A: I’ve only been able to get away twice since 2005 as this is a pretty much online-all-the-time job, but I might get in a bit of skiing over the New Year period as my mum lives in Austria.

Before we finish I would like to ask you some quick fire questions

Please tell us what are your favourite (if any)

Song – : Too numerous to mention and changes regularly. At the moment, ‘I wish I was someone better’ by Blood Red Shoes
Film – A: Lots again, but ‘Withnail and I’ probably takes it for sentimental reasons.
TV Programme A: Battlestar Galactica and Spooks.
Food – A: My mum’s spaghetti bolognese
Drink – A: Non alcoholic - Grenadine with ice somewhere in France. Alcoholic - White Russian
Colour – A: Blue

Magazine A: I don’t read magazines now that internet is here…
Sport to watch – A: Football (soccer)
Sport to play – A: Football (soccer)
Season – A: The first 3 weeks of Autumn. The first day of winter. Then summer as soon as possible.
Time of day – A: Around 8pm
Place on earth – A: I was pretty blown away by the Greek island I was on this summer but anywhere in London or a mountain in Austria would do just fine as well.

And finally..

What do you want for Christmas?

SecondVersion

Filed Under (Up-Close and Personal) by mellowmasher on 21-11-2008

You are known as Seconversion or sv for short over at Namepros. Can you tell us if there was a reason behind your name choice and do you have a real name you could share with us?

- Yes, there is a reason behind my choice of username. I got the nickname in high school believe it or not. I had changed so much from middle school to high school, friends started calling me “version 2″ - which I later just switched around to SecondVersion. My real name is Eric Sizemore.

May I ask your age?

- Certainly, I’m 21.

Anyone that has had the pleasure to know you online knows that you are a bit of a cool coder. Tell us alittle more about your talent and when did you first start?

- Well, anyone that knows me knows that I deal mainly with PHP and MySQL. I’m starting to dabble in Javascript. I’ve been working with PHP and MySQL for nearly 4 years now, and I like to think I’m pretty good at it, at this point.

Do you have any online projects you are either working on at the moment or thinking of starting?

- As a developer, I always have a little something I’m working on and then plenty of things I would like to start. Of course, sometimes, I never get to start those projects. I’m always working on my free domain portfolio software at www.domainportfolio.us

Do you have any basic tips for wannabe coders?

- Yes, I do. First and foremost - study, study, study. No matter which language you choose to learn, it’s always helpful to make sure you know their documentation backwards and forwards. The programming world changes everyday. You’ll be constantly learning, so you should be constantly trying to hone your skills and keeping up with the latest versions of any language you deal with. When coding please keep security in mind and don’t take the lazy way out on things. The last thing we need is yet another “script kiddie”.

Whats a day in the life of Eric away from the computer?

- Well, Monday - Wednesday & Saturday I work in a call center for 1800MEDICARE. Other than that, I spend time with the family, hang out with friends, you know, that kind of thing.

Tell us alittle about your family.

- I have three sisters and one brother. Between them, I have 14 nieces and nephews (and yes, this makes Christmas ever so fun and expensive, hehe). My father left when I was 7 years old, and I haven’t seen him since I as 13. That’s Ok, I believe I turned out well because of my mother.

Do you have any pets?

- Not at the moment. The last pet I had was a Shitzu, and she was stolen.

Is there anyone that you admire and look up to in life and why?

- My mother. She raised five of us on her own. She’s worked hard all of her life. She recently had surgery for Pancreatic Cancer (a year ago now) and she’s as strong as ever. She didn’t get down, or let anyone else either. One month after completing therapy she went back to work, even though she doesn’t need to. She’s a very strong woman. I can only hope to be 1/2 as strong and hard-working as she is.

If you had to be a movie hero, who would you choose to be?

- Not too sure on this one, I’ll get back to you. :P

Which female celeb rocks your boat?

- Oh wow, umm… there’s quite a few that I could mention, lol. I’d say right now though, for many reasons, including her beautiful voice, Fergie.

Have you ever tried Viagra?

Nope! As I get older many things may fail, but THAT is something that will not fail. I guarantee you. I do not have trouble in that department.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

- This is a hard question to answer. I’m not sure how many know this about me but I’ve not yet gone to college. That’s mainly because I put my famiy first. I work to pay the bills and I wouldn’t be able to keep my job I have now if I were to go to school. The other reason I haven’t gone yet is because I still don’t know what to major in. Either way, though, I hope to be in school or maybe graduated within 5 years.

How do you see the internet in 5 years?

- The internet/technology changes so much, I don’t think I could answer this one.

Before we finish I would like to ask you some quick fire questions.

Please tell us what are your favourite (if any)

Song - Right now, it’s Indestructible by Disturbed.
Film - The Green Mile
Food - Pizza
Drink - Dr. Pepper
Colour - Blue
Book - Anything Stephen King
Sport to watch - Football
Sport to play - Football
Season - Fall
Time of day - SLEEP
Place on earth - Still looking for it…

And finally.. What do you want for Christmas?

– My two front teeth. Only kidding. What do I want for Christmas? Nothing at all. I don’t expect anyone to buy me anything, although if they do, I consider that a “bonus”. I enjoy Christmas, not for presents, but how it usually can bring family together - and the meaning it has.

Thanks Eric. It really has been a pleasure being your friend for the past few years and I look forward to many more. Thanks for being my up-close and personal guest for today.

Hugs

Michelle

Reece

Filed Under (Up-Close and Personal) by mellowmasher on 19-11-2008

Good Morning Reece and thanks for joining me Ive a feeling this weeks up-close and personal will be fun.

You are known as www.LLLL.com, Reece or the fat cat over at Namepros, do you have a real name that you could share with us?

A: Reece, although I kind of like Fat Cat and it’s somewhat funny whenever people refer to me as www.LLLL.com and  it creates a backlink for my blog.

May I ask your age?

A: I’m 22. Most people seem to think I’m much older.

Yes I have to agree, I have always thought of you as older. I guess you are just very mature in your ways.

Now rumour has it you buy and sell a few domain names. Can you tell us alittle bit more about your domaining venture?

A: While I’ve bought and sold domains for a number of years now, it’s been more of a hobby and something I read up on sites like DN Journal than something I’ve done seriously until recently. I’ve sold over 3000 domains this year and am happy to say it’s made me the equivalent of a good full time income this year, despite the fact I haven’t really done much domaining since June and have been working on a few other projects.

Do you have any purchases or sales that really stick in your memory for whatever reason?

A: Probably the 1846 LLLL.coms I bought pre-buyout and the few hundred I bought post-buyout. I’ve done well in many of my online ventures, however I’ve never seen an ROI quite like what I saw on these.

Apart from buying and selling domain names, do you have an online business you can share with us?

A: Domaining is just the latest in a series of online ventures I’ve been trying for about a decade now. I’ve been adamant for quite some time now that I never wanted to have a boss. I’ve tried just about every way there is to make money online including get paid to read, paid surveys/quizzes (some actually do pay, although not very well), MLM, virtual good selling (Second Life and Runescape), eBay selling, affiliate programs, adsense arbitrage, web development, blogging, and domaining. I’m looking into the possibility of doing some online business consulting on the side – how many people have tried more ways to make money online?

What about offline, do you have anything going on there?

A: Nope, I pretty much reside in cyberspace. It really is a lot of work to stay on the cutting edge, however I’m a big believer in the harder one works, the luckier one gets.

Obviously having such a time consuming business there is little time for anything else but what do you do with what little free time you have?

A: I enjoy watching a good movie from time to time and running when it isn’t below zero here in Canada!

Do you have any up-and-comming new ideas?

A: I’ve been getting more into trend watching, niche domaining, and domain development recently. With parking income taking a hit and many of my domains not getting all that much traffic, I’m tired of the parking companies dictating my earnings. I’ve been working on an e-book for about 3 months now which I hope to have complete soon on domain name scams.

What would be your top 10 tips for new domainers

A:

1.Time is money
2.Don’t follow the herd or be a sucker for hype
3.Do your own research, arrive at your own conclusions
4.Past performance isn’t necessarily indicative of future results
5.Don’t be afraid to take risks. Hedge them as best you can
6.Learn how to develop. It’ll pay dividends many times over.
7.Work on your intrapersonal and interpersonal skills.
8.Outsourcing is good. If you can’t do it, find someone who can.
9.Network. Your domaining contacts can help you increase sales, further your knowledge, inform you of service providers, and help you meet new people which will make domaining a bit more personable.
10.A good attitude is everything. Be polite, professional, and respectful of all others you deal with, be it other domainers, customer service reps, account reps, brokers, etc. You never know when you might need their help and there’s no reason to burn bridges.

Some very nice tips there, thanks.

Is there anyone that you admire and look up to in life and why?

A: Warren Buffett. Successful, yet he doesn’t rub it in everyone else’s face. He’s never in a rush to sell and invests for long term growth.

Tell us alittle about your family and what do they think about your online profession?

A: At first they thought it was crazy — Better than the bank who had some serious questions about where a kid my age was getting this kind of money from. As long as I’m not doing anything illegal, they’re content I’m making money, however they wish I wouldn’t have dropped out of college.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

A: I’d like to be doing online business consulting. Maybe even write a book about the whole experience of making money on the internet.

How do you see the internet in 10 years?

A: I think Google and Yahoo! will have exited domain parking, however I predict more money than ever before in online advertising and domain name development. Most advertisers will have switched to a Cost Per Action business model and websites which are able to convert will be very well rewarded. We’ll have more extensions and more confusion, however people and most companies will continue to use what their customers trust – Dotcom. We’ll likely see a few unscrupulous domainers make a killing on the first real cybersquatting gold rush since the Internet came to popularity in the 90s. Changes to how domain name disputes are handled will need to be made as disputes begin rising year over year as trademark holders both increasingly focus on the importance of protecting their marks and recognize the value good Dotcom domains have.

Before we finish I would like to ask you some quick fire questions

Please tell us what are your favourite (if any)?

Song – A: Not to sure, I get bored of anything after listening to it a few times.
Film – A: Pretty Woman was pretty good.
Food – A: Pizza and Kimchi
Drink – A: Rockstar energy drinks
Colour – A: Green
Book – A: Buffett: The Making of An American Capitalist
Sport to watch – A: Don’t watch sports
Sport to play – A: Running count as a sport?
Season – A: Fall
Time of day – A: About 2 am to 4am. Ideas seem to flow best for me when mildly deprived of sleep.
Place on earth – A: Haven’t done much traveling. I like it here in Winnipeg, however I’d like to visit Monaco and Grand Cayman someday.

And finally.. What do you want for Christmas –

A: Hmm.. More parking revenue? I’ll probably settle for a bigger or second computer monitor.

Thanks so so much Reece for letting us get up-close and personal with you today. I know alot of domainers admire and respect you and its been a real pleasure getting to know you alittle more . Hugs and I hope the months, years ahead are very profitable for you.

A: Thanks Michelle. It’s been a real pleasure.
